Easy Repair

Pre-purchase inspection

Know what you’re buying before you pay for it

The car looks fine on the driveway. The seller says it’s fine. The service history is a folder of receipts you can’t check.

What we check

We come to the car, wherever it’s parked, and tell you what’s actually there.

Full diagnostic scan
Every module, including codes cleared in the last few days. What somebody erased before a viewing tells you as much as what’s still showing.
Engine and transmission
Condition, leaks, and anything that sounds wrong under load.
Brakes, suspension, steering, tyres
What’s worn now, and what’s going to want money in six months.
Cooling, battery, charging
The things that strand people, and the things nobody checks before a sale.
Body and panel gaps
Signs of a previous hit, whatever the history says.
Then a straight answer
Buy it, go back and negotiate, or walk.

What it costs

A flat price, agreed before we drive out

It depends on the car and where it’s sitting. Ask when you text and you’ll have the number before anybody gets in a van.

Why it’s worth it

It costs a fraction of what you’re about to spend

You usually get one of two things out of it. Peace of mind, or a reason to knock a few hundred off the asking price.

Send us the listing

Year, make, model, mileage and where the car is. We’ll tell you when we can get there.
